Modular Building

The German federal government defines housing as a “basic human need”.

Good standards in housing construction and intact cities significantly determine the quality of life and also contribute to a desirable social climate in our society. The demand for residential construction, especially for multi-story apartment buildings, is growing steadily in most metropolitan areas.

This is precisely why innovative concepts in residential construction, with flexible spatial structures and the possibility of subsequent, use are in demand.

Family apartments today, student shared apartments tomorrow, senior apartments the year after – modular building solutions for multi-storey apartment construction offer exactly these possibilities.

All floor plans can be based on an economical modular grid, will be space-usage-optimized and can be planned to suit any specifications and needs.

In principle, modular construction is perfect for the construction of extensions; while in principle it does not even matter whether the existing building was built using a conventional or modular construction method.

Well-planned cities are good for the psyche; which has been proven extensively lately:  https://science.orf.at/stories/3223727/

With decades of experience in Real Estate Development and Management, we recently added years of the same with modular building; which holds great potentials for modern demands:

Sectional construction made of stainless steel is one of the highest quality and most sophisticated construction concepts of our time.

In contrast to conventional building materials, welded steel structures offer immense potential for highly sophisticated and creatively designed architecture.
Not only because of the significantly shorter construction time, the ability to add or remove modules later, but also because of the option to turn the property into movable property at short notice, i.e. to carry out a fundamental change of location, modular solutions are superior to traditional types of construction in many respects.

From the user’s perspective, it should be made clear that the end product does not differ visually, tactilely or qualitatively from the latest concrete processing techniques.

Stainless steel constructions are over twenty times lighter than conventional building materials of comparable payload, mass and height and are characterized by uncompromising robustness and high torsional rigidity.

In a modern world, environmental awareness has become a key concern of corporate cultures and as a result requires a rethinking on practically every level, especially within industrial production.

Broadly used building materials such as glass or concrete are neither energy efficient to produce nor environmentally friendly to dispose of, as they are hardly recyclable or the options for this either do not exist or are not taken into account for economic reasons.
The cement used in concrete, for example, is responsible for almost eight percent of global CO2 emissions (source: ARD and CBS). The actual value of objects projected here often reflects these facts precisely.

Lightweight steel construction is not only economical, but generally an attractive solution – whether for small houses, multi-story residential buildings or for extensions.
The construction method combines the assembly technology, speed and building physics possibilities of dry construction with the static properties of steel construction.

Solid like “brick on stone”, only much faster and more flexible – modular buildings are primarily seen as a permanent solution – but with the option of being easily rebuild and moveable – and therefore as a sustainable and clever alternative to conventional types of construction, which always includes the possibility of subsequent additions.
